Cindy Blackstock is a Gitxsan Canadian activist fighting for the welfare of First Nations children.  She won a landmark court case against the government showing that longstanding inadequate government funding discriminated against 163,000 First Nation children on reserves, jeopardizing their chances to thrive.

Alexandra Morton is a biologist and activist living in British Columbia, Canada. Her work has been instrumental in raising awareness about the dangers of fish farms and the importance of protecting and securing the wild stocks of salmon along the coast.
